Colin Casillas
Founder, Prepared Sobriety
Colin spent six years quietly thinking about his relationship with alcohol before he ever changed anything about it. On April 16, 2025, he retired from alcohol, not because he hit a rock bottom, but because he made a deliberate, dated decision after years of mental preparation.
The results showed up fast. He lost 14 pounds in four months without changing his diet. His LDL cholesterol dropped from 212 to 142, a 29% reduction. He came off two daily medications, one for blood pressure, one for acid reflux.
Colin built Prepared Sobriety around what actually worked for him. He's a career enterprise sales executive based in Boise, Idaho, not a therapist, not a counselor, not someone running a program built on rules and willpower. He coaches high-earning professionals the way he'd talk to a peer, because that's exactly what he is.
Every post on this blog starts with Colin's story, his data, and the five-stage framework he built from his own experience. He writes and edits every piece before it publishes, drawing on drafting support along the way, the same kind of writing collaboration most professionals use for content today. The decisions, the data, and the voice are his.
If any of this sounds familiar, let's talk.
Reach out and tell me where you are in the framework. That's where it starts. No intake forms. No labels. Just a conversation.
